Nurse-led care, planned around you
Home Care
Stay comfortable in your own home with support shaped around your routines, preferences and independence. From personal care and meals to companionship and agreed medication support, we work with you to plan the help that matters to your everyday life.
Could home care help you?
Home care can help when everyday tasks become more difficult, when a family member needs additional support, or when your circumstances change. You do not need to know exactly what care you need before contacting us: we can talk through your situation and discuss whether our service is suitable.
Support with everyday life
Your care plan sets out the support agreed for you. This may include:
Personal care
Respectful support with washing, showering, dressing and morning or bedtime routines, with attention to your privacy, comfort and choices.
Meals and hydration
Help to prepare or reheat meals, encouragement to eat and drink, and tidying the areas used during food preparation, as agreed in your plan.
Medication support
Prompting and assistance at the level assessed and agreed in your care plan. Support is provided by appropriately trained, competent carers and recorded in the relevant medication records.
Companionship and interests
Time for conversation and meaningful activities that reflect your interests, helping you stay connected while essential care needs remain the priority.
Getting out and about
Support with agreed local outings, shopping or social activities, taking account of your mobility, risk assessment and the time available within your visit.
Everyday comfort and safety
Help to leave areas used during care clean and tidy, keep walkways clear and follow the safety arrangements in your care plan. Tasks are agreed as part of your support, rather than a general cleaning service.
All support is subject to assessment, the agreed care plan and our carers' training and competence. Additional activities must fit safely within the agreed visit time without displacing essential care.
Care built around you
Your routines and choices
We ask about what matters to you, including preferred routines, communication needs and personal care preferences. We encourage independence and involve you in decisions about your support.
Familiar people
We aim to provide a small, consistent team who get to know you. We take account of carer preferences and discuss staffing arrangements, while recognising that the same carer cannot be guaranteed for every visit.
Family involvement
With appropriate consent and authority, family members or representatives can help us understand your preferences and coordinate care. Communication respects your wishes and confidentiality.
Getting started
Tell us what you need
Call or send an enquiry with your postcode, the support you are considering and when you would like it to start. We discuss suitability and availability.
Assess and plan together
We discuss your needs, daily routines, preferences and relevant risks. Together, we agree the tasks, visit schedule, charges and arrangements before care begins.
Start your visits
Carers follow your agreed plan, support your independence and record the care provided. We discuss introductions and handovers where reasonably practicable.
Review as life changes
We review your support with you and, where appropriate, your representative. Changes in your needs or circumstances may mean updating your plan and visit arrangements.
Keeping care connected
Carers record the support provided at each visit, along with relevant observations and concerns. Medication support is recorded in the appropriate medication record. Significant concerns are reported through our escalation procedures, and families or representatives are informed where appropriate. Access to relevant records can be discussed, subject to consent, confidentiality and our information-governance arrangements.

Can home care be adjusted as needs change?
Yes. We review care plans and discuss changes to tasks, visit times, visit length and the level of support. Changes depend on your assessed needs and staffing availability and are agreed with you before being put in place.
Will I have the same carer at every visit?
We aim for a small, familiar team, but cannot guarantee the same carer every time. If a carer is unavailable, we take reasonable steps to arrange suitable cover and keep you or your agreed contact informed.
Can carers help with medication?
Medication support is available only at the level assessed and agreed in your care plan and medication records, and within the carer's training and competence. Tell us about the support you need so we can discuss suitable arrangements.
Can my family help arrange my care?
Yes. We can involve family members or an authorised representative where appropriate, taking account of your wishes, consent and confidentiality. You remain central to planning your support.
How much does home care cost?
Charges depend on the support and visit schedule agreed for you. We discuss the proposed care, costs and service terms before you decide to proceed. Contact us for a quotation based on your circumstances.
Can I enquire about using a Direct Payment?
Yes. Tell us if your care would be funded through a Direct Payment so we can discuss the proposed care package, invoicing and any payment-administrator arrangements. Suitability and payment arrangements need to be agreed before care starts.
How soon can visits start?
Tell us your preferred start date, including if you need support as soon as possible. We confirm availability and the assessment and planning needed before agreeing a start date.
